Mini Mid-Autumn Celebration

We had a mini tanglung party at home, just the 2 of us and Hubby's besties. With lots of paper lanterns and candles recycled from last year's celebration, a pot of Chinese tea, mooncakes and a clear sky to see the full moon, it did seem like a real celebration after all.

Mid-Autumn Celebration 2007
Lanterns of all sorts, sizes and colours!

Earlier on at the office, my colleagues and I bought a set of lanterns and hung them around our workstations. They looked really nice from afar especially when the ones hanging from the ceiling had the lights shining on them. Added with the lanterns hanging around the cubicles, made our area seemed like a Chinese brothel. Litted lanterns means business is in operation! *lol*

It was fun. I had fun. I'm sure Hubby had fun too, he was busy burning grass, leaves, paper and whatever he could get hold of. *grin* Chef turned into Darth Vader cum He-man with his 'candle' lightsaber/sword whereas Footitie arranged the lanterns (last picture) traffic-light style and added the pink coloured lantern for metrosexuality flavour. Oh, and we took a picture of him 'praying' to a plate of burning wax which he was sure he would win the Nobel Peace prize and become the next Dalai Lama. *lol*
